Very nice radio with good features. There’s a little learning curve getting familiar with the settings and functions of the controls.
Didn’t take long to get it dialed in to meet my needs and performance was actually better than anticipated. Made several contacts with good reports on signal and modulation. So far very happy with the quality of the receiver and tone of the built in speaker. This radio is designed to cover several different frequency bands and the conversion is very simple. Seems to be a good value for the money.

Nice radio. Receives very well. I was pleasantly surprised by the sound quality through the speaker built into the panel. When transmitting at full power, it’s best to connect the radio directly to the battery. And that detachable panel is a great feature. This allows you to nicely integrate the panel somewhere in the car. Operation is okay, although I assume that programming stations and giving them names via PC will be much more convenient. I don’t regret the purchase.

Good for warning other drivers of accidents or learning what’s going on. Better than staring at a phone or GPS screen that takes your eyes off the road

The only thing I can find on the negative side is:
I drive a Kenworth T680 with the radio in the overhead cubby, and looking at the display from an angle makes it look somewhat washed out(loss of contrast).

Arrived on time and exactly as described. Fairly easy to install in 2025 Freightliner Cascadia by connecting and crimping leads and connecting to antenna. I have an external mounted longer range antenna and the reception and sound quality are perfect.

Overall this is a great CB radio. I initially got it to stay connected in the event disaster strikes. The sound quality and the build of the radio is definitely good. Installation was a breeze, and getting it calibrated didn’t take long at all. I think for what this radio is, it’s a great value. That said, it wasn’t what I was looking for in the end. Not many people in my area use CB anymore it seems. I’m going to be looking into a 10-Meter radio with CB capability instead.

The reviews about this radio are mostly accurate. Radio has little Modulation swing out of it using the Stock mic, but put an ‘Astatic Road Devil noise cancelling power mic’ on it and it gets out very very well and is very has very clear audio out. The channel scan functions work very nicely for entire 40 channel scanning, or the Favorite channel scanning modes.

Nice features and nice looking. The display can get washed out if the sun is shining on it. It could be brighter. Also the audio output of the speaker is not very loud. It’s fine in a quiet environment but if you’re in a noisy environment you may have to strain to hear it. Other than that it’s a easy to operate scans fast has a great microphone great tactile feel to all the knobs and buttons lightweight and small. It’s a very attractive radio it has held up. It is pretty easy to down tune if you want to run an amplifier.

Got this mainly for road trips with the family. The 60W FM mode is wild — I was talking to other travelers 40 miles out on a flat stretch in Nevada. My old 4W cobra couldn’t hold a candle to this. Great for staying in touch with the convoy. Kids think I’m cool now. That’s worth the price alone.

Been driving for 12 years, went through a handful of radios. The LT-778 at 60W on FM is noticeably stronger than my old 148GTL at legal limits. Breaks through the noise on busy channels when other rigs can’t. The AM clarity is good too. Gets hot after long drives but that’s normal for this power level.

Looked at Uniden, Cobra, and Midland. For the power output you get on this radio, nothing else comes close at this price. Yeah it’s a budget brand but the performance? Top tier. My only gripes are the stock mic could be better and the display is basic, but for under $120 delivered? Can’t complain.
