   I'm new to dual band radios. The LT-950 PRO took about a week to really learn — the menu has a lot of options. But once you understand it, it works exactly as expected. I watched a few YouTube videos from people who had the same model and that helped. For the features you get, the time investment is worth it.

   Had some questions about antenna setup and reached out to Best CB Radio. Got a real response within a day, not just a copy-paste answer.    The LT-950 PRO receiver is sensitive without being oversensitive. I'm picking up weak signals on VHF/UHF that my previous radio missed, but without the excessive noise floor. The squelch works correctly. Good simplex contacts I couldn't make before are now routine. Solid receiver for the price.

The display shows mode, signal strength, and everything I need at a glance. Small detail that makes a big difference on a daily drive.

   Was worried about programming since I'd heard Chinese radios can be tricky. Used the BTECH UV-5X3 app and it was surprisingly painless. Bluetooth connected on the first try, frequencies uploaded in minutes. RT Systems also works if you prefer that route. Once programmed, the radio holds settings perfectly. For a dual band radio at this price, the software experience exceeded expectations.

   Great hand held for price. I use as short wave receiver. Picks up WWV well 7.200 well LSB and AM short wave. Tri band frequency mode for aircraft. Excellent FM reception. Commercial AM and LW nothing or weak. CB if that is your thing. Spectrum Analyzer as well. Built in GPS and APRS. Not high dollar just works.

   The LT-950 Pro excels at straight analog VHF/UHF operation. It has honest power output over 8 watts. It transmits and receives analog voice very well, sensitivity and audio quality right up there with my Kenwood, Yeasu, and Icom portables. I briefly tested 6M and 10M and it saw 2.5W and 1.7W respectively, in other words it works on those bands but is not optimized for them. Works great on GMRS, FRS, and Marine frequencies also. WX radio is a quick one button option that works well. Zones are a great feature to keep your memories organized. The screen is bright and sharp. The stock antenna is very good. Given the fantastic voice performance I was disappointed to in the quite poor APRS performance. On my daily 4 mile walk I am lucky to see one decode on aprs.fi through my home digipeater. My FT5-DR, FT1-DR, and D75 all report multiple times along the entire path. I realize those three radios are quite a bit more expensive that the Luiton but given the great voice performance I expected better. If you are looking for great dual band voice performance you will be happily rewarded. If you are looking for APRS, look elsewhere. 73'

   Great radios for that price (low $100). I always recommend changing the stock antenna. In this case, I recommend to invest on a triband antenna to maximize the radio's features. It's well build and rough feeling. The screen is great and can be seen right under sunlight. Currently not supported on CHIRP but expect that coming soon since there is a way to get to work with CHIRP but it requires some radio prgramming knowledge. The manual isn't the best but anyone can find plenty videos on youtube with tutorials. Battery has 4 bars and (my battery) it drops one bar within the first 60 to 75 minutes of use but it doesn't drop another bar on the next 8 hours or so. Still haven't use it for more than 9-10 hours straight without charging. Radios with all the features as this one cost 3 times more. Luiton is coming with software updrades once a month. I highly recommend this radio.

   Purchase a similar pair of these walkie talkies for cheaper from Walmart and they wouldn't even last 8 hours off the charger these however are amazing charge them up properly and only have to charge them once a week and we leave them on constantly these are great quality and have a lot of private channels So you don't have to worry about people eavesdropping on your conversations
