    I gave this radio 5 stars because it's been years since Luiton has come out with a Single Side Band radio and this latest radio seems to be pretty stable with good audio reports. I have the radio for a couple of months now and so far so good. I've been using 11 meter radios (CB) for around 40 years so I'm not exactly a novice. The verdict of course is still out on its longevity and durability but seems well built and I intend to mostly use it for a base station application. I also purchased the wireless mic and both the mic and the radio have never failed to pair up and I have gone about 200 ft. from the radio without loss of signal, even with the radio inside the house.

    This is NOT a radio to tweak and tune, which is totally fine with me, so you 'hash & trasher's' might not like it.

    I have been using this radio for 2 weeks now, have made contacts all over the US of A on SSB and locally on AM. I am getting great feedback on the audio quality using the included mic, and everyone says it is very clean sounding. The scan feature is a huge plus for finding our local forestry and logging operations, to communicate with log truck drivers and heavy equipment operators when hunting. The WX channels come in better than my table top unit as long as "scan" feature is used to pick the best station.

Radio has little Modulation swing out of it using the Stock mic, but put an 'Astatic Road Devil noise cancelling power mic' on it and it gets out very very well and is very has very clear audio out. The channel scan functions work very nicely for entire 40 channel scanning, or the Favorite channel scanning modes.

    This rig is terrific for the price. As others have noted, it uses the same new board as the newest generation of the Stryker 955, a fabulous radio. It's like getting the performance of the Stryker for just a bit more than half price. Transmit audio is excellent on all modes just using the stock mic. The radio is rock stable on sideband. There is no drifting. Mine arrived spot on frequency from the factory. The receiver is excellent also, very smooth sounding on all modes. Luiton had plenty of room to fit a standard 4pin jack, making it easier to wire up amplified mics. This is THE rig to get for the mobile or a nice base setup with a power supply. Great job Luiton.

    This is an excellent radio, it works fabulously. I have it in my CMV at the moment, works like a charm. It was very easy to set up, and offers a great value for the money. If you go into a pilot or any other gas station to buy a radio of this caliber, you’re probably walking out $200. Luiton has pretty standard features and it performs well. I’m not familiar with the brand really but it seems to be good quality, as good as anything you’ll get online or in store for this price range if not better. It’s also a good size, fit in its standard position, at least in my truck. This can also be used at home or in a vehicle other than a truck but for my application, this is what it’s used for

I'm using 102" whip up about 30ft to tip of whip. can't beat whip for receive.. Other party said he had good strong copy on me also running barefooted radio.     Nice radio. Receives very well. I was pleasantly surprised by the sound quality through the speaker built into the panel. When transmitting at full power, it's best to connect the radio directly to the battery. And that detachable panel is a great feature. This allows you to nicely integrate the panel somewhere in the car. Operation is okay, although I assume that programming stations and giving them names via PC will be much more convenient. I don't regret the purchase.

    So weit, so gut, toller Empfang, Radio klingt gut. Ich habe nicht jede Art von Tuning zu tun hatte. Ich ging in ein lokales Geschäft, um eine Antenne zu kaufen, die angeschlossen wurde, und alles funktioniert großartig. Ich habe fünf dieser Funkgeräte gekauft, und ich bin froh, dass ich es getan habe. Sie werden für meine Anwendung funktionieren.

    Anständiges Radio

    Dieses Export-CB-Funkgerät deckt 10, 11 und 12 Meter ab!
    Perfekte CB zum Kaufen, Einstecken und Loslegen. Nichts weiter zu tun. Scannt schnell durch die Kanäle. Auch SSB! Alles für den niedrigen Preis. Sehr zu empfehlen.

    Ich liebe dieses Radio absolut. All die Funktionen und die Zugänglichkeit machen es zum besten, das ich bisher besessen habe. Ich war zunächst skeptisch aufgrund einiger negativer Bewertungen auf Amazon, aber nachdem ich heute den ganzen Tag damit gespielt habe, bin ich froh, dass ich es gekauft habe. Man kann es spitzenmäßig einstellen und tunen, aber es ist von Anfang an perfekt eingestellt. Es driftet überhaupt nicht und die interne Diagnose ist ein Plus, obwohl ich nicht sicher bin, wie genau sie ist. Ich habe dieses Gerät als Ersatz für ein verbranntes Gerät gekauft, so dachte ich. Das alte Gerät wollte nicht mehr senden und war schon sehr alt. Ich schloss meine neue, billigere Antenne an dieses Gerät an, und der Diagnosetest ergab, dass die Antenne nicht funktioniert. Ich habe sie schließlich gemessen und festgestellt, dass meine Antenne schlecht ist. Also habe ich mein altes Gerät weggeschmissen, für nichts, da bin ich mir sicher. Abgesehen davon bin ich mit der Klarheit dieses Geräts mehr als zufrieden, und es ist eine enorme Verbesserung gegenüber dem, was ich hatte. Die Wetterbänder klingen großartig. Speichersuchlauf und Vollkanalsuchlauf sowie Seitenband sind großartige Funktionen.

    Der Ehemann ist ein OTR-Fahrer und er liebt es!
    Mein Mann sagt, es sei das beste CB-Gerät, das er je in seinem Lkw hatte, und er fährt schon seit 20 Jahren. Ich bin so froh, dass ich endlich ein tolles Geschenk gefunden habe!
