   I gave this radio 5 stars because it's been years since Luiton has come out with a Single Side Band radio and this latest radio seems to be pretty stable with good audio reports. I have the radio for a couple of months now and so far so good. I've been using 11 meter radios (CB) for around 40 years so I'm not exactly a novice. The verdict of course is still out on its longevity and durability but seems well built and I intend to mostly use it for a base station application. I also purchased the wireless mic and both the mic and the radio have never failed to pair up and I have gone about 200 ft. from the radio without loss of signal, even with the radio inside the house.
   
   This is NOT a radio to tweak and tune, which is totally fine with me, so you 'hash & trasher's' might not like it.

   I have been using this radio for 2 weeks now, have made contacts all over the US of A on SSB and locally on AM. I am getting great feedback on the audio quality using the included mic, and everyone says it is very clean sounding. The scan feature is a huge plus for finding our local forestry and logging operations, to communicate with log truck drivers and heavy equipment operators when hunting. The WX channels come in better than my table top unit as long as "scan" feature is used to pick the best station.

   The reviews about this radio are mostly accurate. Radio has little Modulation swing out of it using the Stock mic, but put an 'Astatic Road Devil noise cancelling power mic' on it and it gets out very very well and is very has very clear audio out. The channel scan functions work very nicely for entire 40 channel scanning, or the Favorite channel scanning modes.

   So far there is nothing I dislike. I wanted a big LCD and it doesn’t disappoint. This AI noise reduction seems to work fairly well, I have a lot of static in my location which makes it difficult to talk to weak stations. It does actually help! I haven’t even figured out all of the bells and whistles yet and it has a lot but they are all useful features. It’ll be weeks or more before I’ll have a good grasp of the radio. I’ll update if need be.

   great value gmrs base station

   This is great radio that is simple to use. I am easily able to hit my clubs gmrs repeater that is 70 miles away after upgrading to the antenna.

   This rig is terrific for the price. As others have noted, it uses the same new board as the newest generation of the Stryker 955, a fabulous radio. It's like getting the performance of the Stryker for just a bit more than half price. Transmit audio is excellent on all modes just using the stock mic. The radio is rock stable on sideband. There is no drifting. Mine arrived spot on frequency from the factory. The receiver is excellent also, very smooth sounding on all modes. Luiton had plenty of room to fit a standard 4pin jack, making it easier to wire up amplified mics. This is THE rig to get for the mobile or a nice base setup with a power supply. Great job Luiton.

   This is an excellent radio, it works fabulously. I have it in my CMV at the moment, works like a charm. It was very easy to set up, and offers a great value for the money. If you go into a pilot or any other gas station to buy a radio of this caliber, you’re probably walking out $200. Luiton has pretty standard features and it performs well. I’m not familiar with the brand really but it seems to be good quality, as good as anything you’ll get online or in store for this price range if not better. It’s also a good size, fit in its standard position, at least in my truck. This can also be used at home or in a vehicle other than a truck but for my application, this is what it’s used for

   I like all the lights on front , plus Radio seems to receive very good just made contact about 14 miles away and other party sounded like he was in my front yard, very loud. I'm using 102" whip up about 30ft to tip of whip. can't beat whip for receive.. Other party said he had good strong copy on me also running barefooted radio. I just wish remote mike had squelch control on it would be great then.

   Nice radio. Receives very well. I was pleasantly surprised by the sound quality through the speaker built into the panel. When transmitting at full power, it's best to connect the radio directly to the battery. And that detachable panel is a great feature. This allows you to nicely integrate the panel somewhere in the car. Operation is okay, although I assume that programming stations and giving them names via PC will be much more convenient. I don't regret the purchase.

   Ottima radio e facile da modificare per farla funzionare sui modelli 10, 11 e 12. Tagliare il filo bianco, spostare il ponticello nero sui pin posteriori più lontani dalla parte anteriore. Semplice.
   
   Ci sono molte recensioni su questa radio in rete, quindi non vi annoierò con quelle, ma con le seguenti...
   
   Ho iniziato con un vecchio CB realistico di Radio Shack alle superiori parlando con gli amici e sono passato a vari cobra 29, poi ai President e ora al mio primo Luiton 10 metri. Un maggior numero di persone dovrebbe avvicinarsi alla radio CB (alla radio in generale), ma credo che anche non parlare con nessuno in un mondo di 8 miliardi di persone vada bene.

Sono andato in un negozio locale per comprare un'antenna da collegare e tutto funziona alla grande. Ho acquistato cinque di queste radio e sono contento di averlo fatto. Funzioneranno per la mia applicazione.

   Questa radio CB da esportazione copre 10, 11 e 12 metri!

   Un CB perfetto da acquistare, collegare e partire. Non c'è altro da fare. La scansione dei canali è veloce. Anche in SSB! Tutto per un prezzo contenuto. Lo consiglio vivamente.

   Adoro questa radio. Tutte le funzioni e l'accessibilità la rendono la migliore che ho posseduto finora. All'inizio ero scettico a causa di alcune recensioni negative su Amazon, ma dopo averci giocato tutto il giorno oggi, sono contento di averla acquistata. Può essere regolato e messo a punto, anche se è stato impostato perfettamente dalla scatola. Non ha alcuna deriva e la diagnostica interna è un vantaggio, anche se non sono sicuro della sua precisione. L'ho acquistato per sostituire un'unità bruciata, così pensavo. Il vecchio non trasmetteva ed era molto vecchio. Ho collegato la mia nuova antenna, più economica, a questa e il test diagnostico non ha dato esito positivo. Alla fine l'ho misurata e sicuramente l'antenna era difettosa. Così ho buttato via la mia vecchia unità per niente, ne sono certo. A parte questo, sono più che soddisfatto della chiarezza di questo apparecchio ed è un enorme miglioramento rispetto a quello che avevo. Le bande meteo suonano benissimo. La scansione in memoria, la scansione di tutti i canali e la banda laterale sono ottime funzioni.
