When I first unboxed the unit, my expectations were not very high. The unit is very small in size and does not have the normal functionality of a common C/B radio. The mic is also permanently attached to the radio and is not able to be removed and swapped out with a different mic or cord. This was purchased with intentions of my wife using it while driving a pilot vehicle. We installed all the included hardware onto her vehicle, along with a couple extras, and have been using it for a little over 2 months now. There have been absolutely no issues at all with the unit. It is small & compact and fits nice in my wife’s Dodge Journey. The sound coming out of it is clear and easy to hear. Once I had the settings dialed in the first day, we haven’t had to touch them since. It’s a good buy if you’re looking for something inexpensive.
